Recruiting Success Stories
Hello Everyone,
I had some time to sit down with some of our recruiters and discuss with them what is working and what is not. Emily in May produced $46,790! And McKenna is on track for $46,800 this June! So first off, huge congrats to these two ladies! Secondly, I want to share insights with you all on what’s working for them.
I will also be sharing some nuggets on what’s working for me as well as I’ve begun recruiting part-time to better understand how we can adapt to this 2021 recruiting environment! (I’ve made 3 placements already for $37.5K). So know that everything you read below is coming from people who are getting results.
1) How many accounts are you working per day? 3-4 and up to 7 max. Sourcing and interviewing.
2) Where are you spending a lot of your time? Sourcing. Recruiters reported sourcing in the morning first thing and late afternoons (so that messages/interested candidates would be in their inbox in the morning).
3) Ziprecruiter Ads – Getting those refreshed at least once per week. Mondays and Fridays. That way the jobs are at the top of search engines = more applicants!
4) Platforms that are working the best: by far Indeed Resume! Spend time sourcing on indeed resume search. Also, be sure to click the “show all” button so you hit old passive candidates (and not just new ones!). After indeed, recruiters are reporting Ziprecruiter as being the next best platform.
5) Some recruiters are leveraging a quick interview strategy (10 to 20 mins). While others are leveraging 35-40 minutes to build deeper rapport and connection with the candidate (achieving more candidate control). Both strategies are effective and have pros and cons. Feel free to experiment with each.
6) Recruiters are having anywhere from 5 to 11 high-quality interviews that then become submissions. 3-7 submissions daily.
7) Some recruiters call candidates right away or prefer to text. Either strategy is working, as long as you do both the order doesn’t really matter.
8) Asking candidates if they are open to other roles and relocating? Positioning yourself as a resource for the candidate builds a lot of rapport!
