Immediate Tools to Use + Setup:
Google Business: Apps for Work (Gmail.com)
In your email.
Google Voice:
This will be what you use to text candidates. Please avoid mass texting (sending group texts) or sending a high volume of texts. Ideally, 25-30 new texts per day should be fine. Below are the setup instructions:
Step 1: Create a google voice account using your personal email (Note: Your work email will not work)
Step 2: Go to your personal email and in the settings go to “Forwarding and POP”
Step 3: Click the “add a forwarding address” button and add your company email here
Step 4: Go to your company email and click the email link to confirm forwarding
Step 5: Return to your personal email settings and refresh the page
Step 6: Underneath the add forwarding button there is text that reads:
“Tip: You can also forward only some of your mail by creating a filter!”
Click the link “creating a filter”
Step 7: In the “From” field copy and paste the following: txt.voice.google.com
Click “Create Filter”
Step 8: Check the box where it says “Forward it” and THEN “Choose an address” which should be your company email
Click Create Filter
You should now receive email notifications from your candidates via Google Voice!
