So I just wanted to write an awareness blog on restaurants in Newington CT, in particular a new restaurant called Tunxis Grill , on 2095 Berlin Turnpike. The restaurant just recently popped up in in this area, and you may know 2095 Berlin Turnpike as the old 99 or maybe you know it as the old Fat and Happy’s or Rivals! It is now the new home of the Tunxis Grill!

Expect juicy hamburgers (a must try) and all-around solid American cuisine. For starters, the restaurant has very unique appetizers, like reuben rolls. They are also known for unique pizza- mashed potato pizza. Overall, the grill has a great all around menu of appetizers, dinners, and salads. See for yourself the full menu here.
The restaurant started humbly but with a grand plan: To create the finest burger this world has ever tasted! And with nothing but a food cart this dream started to become realized, and kept growing and growing. Now the owner has three other restaurants throughout Connecticut, and they were just written up in the Hartford Courant!
